Mello Roos
Homes on the Island of Yerba Buena also are subject to an additional mello-roos annual tax assessment. The funds from the mello-roos assessment fund the construction of new infrastructure on the island, from drainage to roads, schools, sewers, and more. Mello-Roos assessments vary based on your square footage and as of early 2020, the known mello-roos rates will be $6.91 a square foot for homes at The Bristol. You can expect to pay these additional mello-roos assessments for as long as you own the property.
