Yes, although we supposed you could build yourself a home without it if you really wanted? While owners are not required to purchase parking, homes built by the developer will be offered with parking spots and upgrades to support EV charging.

Mello Roos
Homes on the Island of Yerba Buena also are subject to an additional mello-roos annual tax assessment. The funds from the mello-roos assessment fund the construction of new infrastructure on the island, from drainage to roads, schools, sewers, and more. Mello-Roos assessments vary based on your square footage and as of early 2020, the known mello-roos rates will be $6.91 a square foot for homes at The Bristol. You can expect to pay these additional mello-roos assessments for as long as you own the property.
