Although the exposed concrete walls and high ceilings give this building the feel of a conversion loft, it was built from the ground up in 2001. It is considered an architecturally notable building in San Francisco, having won an American Institute of Architects Design Excellence Award in 2003.
As you enter the residential lobby, you’ll quickly forget the hustle and bustle on the SOMA streets as you are greeted by a space that evokes a quiet and tranquil Japanese garden. These thoughtful characteristics are carried throughout the building, and many lofts feature translucent glass walls that flood the homes with light.
Most loft homes either have decks, street-level private gardens, or large outdoor terraces. On the tenth floor, penthouse lofts feature skylights and lovely downtown views. The homes at Yerba Buena Lofts range in size from approximately 640 to 1,400 square feet.
