    Rockwell was developed by the same team that completed Marlow in 2014. The architect is Kwan Henmi, Build Group is the general contractor, and Oyster Development is the developer. The project is the result of merging six existing lots and demolishing most of the existing buildings, although most of their historic facades have been preserved.

    In their place, two 13-story towers have risen with about 5,500 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor and one level of below-grade parking with spots for up to 245 vehicles and 141 bicycles.

    In addition to being part of the Pine Street Auto Shops Historic district, some of the buildings that were demolished were used to store the personal belongings of Japanese Americans who were sent to forced internment camps during WWII.
