Once upon a time Britton and I had a client who was plum crazy. Which probably isn’t news, but the exciting part was that our client was absolutely positively convinced that we weren’t showing them all of the “pretty houses on quiet, tree-lined streets in the Mission.”
And yes, that was their quote, verbatim. In our defense, if you were to draw a venn diagram with one circle being “pretty houses” the others being “mission district,” “quiet,” and “tree-lined street” you probably wouldn’t have much of an overlap. So it wasn’t that we were hiding these houses from our client, it was more a matter of not being able to conjure them into existence. Ah, the challenges in real estate.
The folks over at Mission Mission blog have a post up nominating Shotwell as the most beautiful street in the Mission district. You can also see a post they did a few years back about Shotwell Street.
