The most notable neighborhood feature is the eponymous reservoir. It’s such a small rectangle of homes — bounded by Eucalyptus, 19th Ave./CA-1, Sloat Blvd., and 26th Ave. — that you’d be unlikely to know it’s a distinct neighborhood unless you live there. Or you’re reading this.
Merced Manor Neighborhood Vibe
Merced Manor is suburbia in the city, and the largest neighborhood feature is the Merced Manor reservoir. Although it doesn’t have a strip mall in its neighborhood boundaries, the immediately adjacent Lake Shore does! Pine Lake Park and Stern Grove are just across the northern neighborhood boundary, and Stonestown Mall, Lake Merced, and Ft. Funston mean you’ll never be far from whatever it is you feel like doing.
Popular Merced Manor Home Styles
Split level ranches, homes without stairs, and all those other “modern” home innovations you usually have to drive to the suburbs to experience….But don’t come shopping for a condo, because you won’t find one in the neighborhood.
Getting Around in Merced Manor
Bring a car. Muni light-rail service is nearby but this neighborhood was developed with the assumption you’d have two legs and four wheels.
With 20+ years in the industry and over $400M in sales, we live and breathe San Francisco real estate from Visitacion Valley to The Marina and from Victorians to modern condos. Always fascinated by the people, history, and evolution of our city.
We are counselors and advisers, not salespeople. If you want a deal done, we’ll get a deal done. If you want to push pause, we’ll pause. Your search might last five years and 36 neighborhoods, or one hour and one address. Decades of experience prove we aren’t in this for the quick deal, but the lasting relationship. How about you?
We know how to prepare and position your home for top dollar when selling and how to negotiate your best price as a buyer regardless of market dynamics. We work with the right people at the right time, tapping our powerful network of lenders, contractors, artisans, and vendors.
