Meet Elevant at 555 Golden Gate, one of the newest San Francisco condo buildings, and the most recent addition to housing choices in the Civic Center neighborhood. It’s located next to the SFPUC’s snazzy and bird-proofed headquarters, around the corner from the Superior Court and City Hall, and within a short jaunt of the Van Ness BRT when it opens, not to mention nearby muni underground along Market street and all the other bus and transit options.

Elevant Developer

JS Sullivan is a prolific SF developer, with Maison au Pont in the Marina as one of his more recent projects. He tends to identify in-fill sites and build boutique size buildings with roof decks, minimal amenity stacks, secure but not attended lobbies, and the latest in home technology. Elevant, with 55 homes, fits the description almost exactly. Monthly homeowner fee’s are intially projected to be in the $600 – $800/month range, depending on home size and parking.

As for parking? The home comes with 21 parking spaces using stacker technology, expect the parking spaces to be sold with the largest homes, the usual San Francisco developer tradition.

Elevant is exclusively marketed by the JS Sullivan development team, we don’t represent JS Sullivan. We do provide buyers with independent representation in new construction at Elevant or any San Francsico condo building.

The Elevant Experience

You’re greeted by a secure building lobby finished in warm tones with a seating area and elevator. The homes in the building are built around a central interior courtyard, with six homes on each floor. All of the homes have air-conditioning, wide-plank engineered Oak wood floors, gas ranges and exterior-vented range-hoods in the kitchen. Developer pricing does not include a refrigerator, washer/dryer (although full size and vented!), backsplash in the kitchen or window coverings.

Homes on the back side of the building feature patios that face south and overlook Redwood Street, an alley that runs for one block between Polk and Van Ness Avenue. The rear of the building faces the rear of the Superior Court of California. If you’re an attorney looking for a home within a short walk of your favorite court building, Elevant is for you!

The homes feature open floor plans, bedroom sizes that are in-line with standards if not a little bit larger, and floor to ceiling windows in many layouts.
