The sales team for 388 Fulton announced over the weekend that they had completed their initial sales, selling out all 61 market rate homes at a very popular Hayes Valley location. 388 Fulton has been a popular building with our clients, who have loved the combination of location and pricing.
It’s a notable building because it has no car parking. Every home does get bike parking, but there haven’t been a ton of buildings built in San Francisco with zero parking. 1 Franklin, located a few blocks away, also was built with no parking and that building also has been very well received by buyers.
The building has two ground-floor retail spaces, and they will initially be occupied by a Sushi restaurant and a Johnny Doughnuts.
Central locations like Hayes Valley, that have great transit options, can expect to continue to see the city incentivize developers to build less parking in new and future developments. 388 Fulton was formerly a parking lot, and after a lot split the Boys and Girls Club of Hayes Valley was built at 380 Fulton, and after that building was completed 388 Fulton began construction.
